The Arabic Alphabet

Before start learning:

The Arabic alphabet contains 28 letters

It is written and read from right to left

There are some sounds in Arabic are nonexistent in English,therefore, foreigner learners must be patient and do practice to achieve right pronunciation

In Arabic script letters join to each other to form words, so every letter may take more than three forms:

(At the beginning of word, the middle and the end)

Spoken Arabic dialects are different from the formal Arabic "Fussha" but all Arabs even illiterate people can understand the standard language (classical Arabic CA)
